Rocket Booster, an initiative by PCI · Creative Science Park – Aveiro Region, through the University of Aveiro Incubator, startUP23, and Triggr Ventures, with the support of Turismo de Portugal, is designed to fuel startups with at least one product ready to hit the market. We are dedicated to fostering the union of the entrepreneurship and tourism ecosystems in Portugal and the globe.
Rocket Booster is a comprehensive Acceleration Program designed for startups in the tourism sector with at least one market-ready product. We are committed to accelerating the growth of these startups, enhancing the entrepreneurial skills of their founders, and building a robust connection between the entrepreneurship and tourism ecosystems in Portugal.
On Demo Day we will also select 3 startups to attend the Investment Readiness Program (these startups may not be the top 3 projects awarded).

Whether you’re part of the international ecosystem or from the heart of Portugal, Rocket Booster program welcomes all innovative startups within the tourism sector that are eager to take their businesses to new heights.
Startups in their nascent stages with an initial idea and conceptual validation, self-funded and with at least a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). If you have an idea that can revolutionize the tourism sector and you're ready to turn it into a reality, we want to hear from you.
Startups that have secured initial investments for product development and launch, with at least a Minimum Viable Product (MVP). If you're in this phase, we can provide the resources and mentorship needed to help your startup flourish.
We reach out to global tourism startups and others that can operate in the sector. If you're based outside Portugal but have a product or service that can contribute to our thriving tourism industry, we invite you to apply.

Three Startups Will be Selected to Attend the Investment
This program will have “Pitch to Investors + Q&A” sessions, “Founder’s Talks” and 1-to-1 “Mentorship” with investors.

The startup must operate within the tourism sector.
The startup must have at least one product ready to be tested or implemented in the market.
Startups from any location are eligible to apply, but those from the Portuguese ecosystem are strongly encouraged.
